About the Role

Responsibilities

Octave is seeking a Hybrid Account Manager remote in Germany for large chemicals and oil customers. In this position, you will be responsible for expanding existing chemicals and oils accounts in DACH and dealing with our engineering products, this role is a great opportunity for a senior sales talent enjoying managing and growing key accounts (70%) and winning new business (30%)!

  • Develops a rapport with customers for the long term.
  • Represents Octave with integrity and professionalism, acting as an agent of the company.
  • Diligently uses the corporate sales CRM system.
  • Engages with executive-level management at customer companies.
  • Selling multiple product lines.
  • Involvement in financial and legal discussions with customers.
  • Delivering on quota expectations.

Education / Qualifications

  • Ability to solution sell and define business value for the client.
  • Understanding of the customer’s budgeting process and why the budget exists.
  • Proven experience selling complex software solutions.
  • Ability to manage large key accounts in the chemicals and oil area.
  • A track record of sucessfully managing and growing business.
  • Talented in establishing a trusted relationship with assigned customers.
