Team Operator (m/w/d) im Bereich Produktion

We are looking for several team operators to strengthen our filling operations in our adhesive division at UHU in Bühl.

How You Make The Difference

Within the framework of weekly targets, you ensure that the assigned systems and machines run optimally and contribute to continuous improvement by leading, coordinating, motivating, optimally deploying and developing the entire team.

How Your Agenda Looks Like

• Production monitoring for assigned filling and packaging systems, including disciplinary management responsibility
• Ensuring the timely availability of employees, materials and machinery for production
• Ensuring the quality requirements of the finished products
• Participation in the continuous optimization of the system
• Responsibility for the proper and safe operation of the systems under all operating conditions in accordance with scheduled internal training
• Responsibility for the proper handover and takeover of shifts
• Acting as a stand-in to ensure optimal production flow
• Coordinating or independently rectifying minor malfunctions with little impact and informing supervisors and QA in the event of major malfunctions
• Sharing responsibility for safety, order and cleanliness in the area of machines and equipment and monitoring the safety-conscious behaviour of machine operators during operation

Your Team

You will work in a large production team, manage your employees at the assigned facilities and report to the team leader.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Completed training in a manufacturing environment (e.g. chemical technician, industrial mechanic, mechatronics engineer or machine and plant operator) or several years of professional experience in a chemical manufacturing environment, ideally also initial coordination experience
• Extensive professional experience in plant-related areas, preferably in chemical filling plants
• Good knowledge of SAP and occupational safety
• Structured, forward-thinking, independent and safety-oriented approach to work combined with entrepreneurial thinking and action
• Very good communication skills, empathy and ability to motivate and lead teams
• Willingness to work early/late/night shifts and weekends if required
• Willingness to undergo intensive, scheduled, operational training and in-house basic further training in machine technology and in-house coordination and management
