About The Role

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team at Trading212. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining our scalable microservice-based architecture that supports millions of transactions daily. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, craft innovative solutions, and ensure the robustness, performance, and security of our systems. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver seamless trading experiences to our users and maintain our competitive edge in the financial technology sector.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development within a microservice environment, with a proven track record of building scalable and high-performance systems. You should be familiar with common communication protocols such as HTTP, WebSockets, and AMQP, and possess experience working with web frameworks across different programming languages. A deep understanding of relational database management systems, including concepts like indexing, transactions, and locking mechanisms, is essential. Experience with in-memory databases like Redis or Memcached is a plus. Candidates with ongoing or completed computer science education are encouraged to apply.
