We are seeking a Head of Sales - EMEA (f/m/d) with strong ownership for commercial growth and market expansion across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will build the sales pipeline, lead opportunities from prospecting to closing, and develop accounts and partner networks across key segments such as industrial energy storage, infrastructure projects, and commercial applications. Our company develops next‑generation sodium‑ion battery storage systems designed for resilient, sustainable, and circular energy infrastructure.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Define, refine, implement, and continuously develop the regional go-to-market and sales strategy for EMEAProactively drive the entire sales cycle from lead generation, prospecting, qualification, technical and commercial steering, proposal preparation, negotiation, and closingBuild, manage, and grow a strong pipeline with clear forecasting discipline, structured processes, and high deal hygieneDevelop and expand strategic key accounts as well as partner ecosystems, including channel partners, system integrators, EPCs, project developers, and distributorsOwn revenue and margin delivery against quarterly and annual targets, ensuring accuracy in forecasting and commercial planning Lead pricing discussions, commercial structuring, and contract negotiations, ensuring competitive and scalable commercial frameworksCollaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Finance to ensure customer needs are understood and solutions are delivered with technical and operational precisionConduct ongoing market and competitive analysis to identify emerging opportunities, customer trends, regulatory developments, and risks, and derive actionable measures Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings across EMEA to build visibility and market traction Ensure strong CRM discipline (ideally Pipedrive) with clean data, adherence to processes, and effective use of CRM insights for pipeline management and sales planning Continuously improve sales workflows, templates, and operational processes to support scalable regional growth

Must have's:

5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in Energy, Industrial Tech, Infrastructure Solutions, Renewables, Energy Storage, or adjacent technical fieldsProven track record selling complex technical solutions with multistakeholder decision cycles and longer sales processes Experience in regional sales responsibility, ideally across EMEAStrong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skillsFluent in English; additional EMEA languages are a plus High willingness to travel within the EMEA regionStrong analytical thinking, structured working style, process discipline, and CRM proficiency (ideally Pipedrive)

Nice to have's:

Experience working with partner ecosystems including distributors, system integrators, EPCs, and channel partnersUnderstanding of battery and energy storage markets, ideally sodium-ion or BESSExperience in tenderdriven or regulated environmentsFamiliarity with start-up or scale-up environments

Location: Bremen, Germany - alternatively, we are also filling this position at our on-site location in Technopark Lucerne, Switzerland.

Travel Readiness: ca. 50%
