Position: Process & Operations Engineering Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $75–$100/hour

Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

Build long-horizon ops-engineering tasks with deterministic rubrics for agent performance evaluation.Develop scenarios in process documentation including process flow diagrams and SOPs.Conduct yield and quality analyses with ground-truth defect rates and root-cause investigations.Create FMEAs and Six Sigma writeups with verifiable statistical outputs.Work independently and focus on challenging scenarios requiring long sessions of concentration.

Qualifications

Must-Have

BS or MS in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.3+ years in process, operations, or manufacturing engineering.Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), SPC, FMEA, root cause methodology (5 Whys, fishbone, 8D).Proficiency in ops-engineering artifacts: process flows, SOPs, FMEAs, project charters, kaizen reports.Strong written communication skills for encoding reasoning into deterministic rubrics.
