Who We’re Looking For
As a key member of the Maternal & Child Health (MCH) team within the International team, the Market Access Specialist will play a critical role in shaping access, reimbursement, and adoption pathways for the JADA® System, a groundbreaking vacuum induced medical device designed for the rapid control of abnormal postpartum bleeding and postpartum hemorrhage (PPH), with the potential to extend this role across the broader MCH product portfolio.
You will ensure that hospitals, healthcare systems, and payers understand the clinical value, economic benefits, and operational impact of JADA, ultimately supporting broader availability of this life saving technology. This is a strategic, cross functional role requiring deep payer insight, strong customer engagement capabilities, and the ability to translate clinical and economic evidence into compelling value messages to support the various local sales teams.
About The Role
Market Access Strategy & Expansion
Develop and execute regional market access strategies to secure reimbursement pathways and expand patient access.Analyze health system structures, payer environments, funding mechanisms, and local reimbursement requirements to identify opportunities and barriers.Build and manage a market access pipeline, including targeted engagements with payers, hospital leadership, procurement, and health authorities.Partner with sales leadership to ensure alignment between commercial execution and payer strategy.Identify unmet needs, current & future access landscape and access pathways, key customers, stakeholders, and decision makers to implement access strategy and plan, which incorporates opportunities and addresses risks.
Health Economics, Value & Evidence Communication
Translate clinical, economic, and real world evidence into clear, credible value propositions tailored to payers, hospital decision makers, and reimbursement bodies.Prepare and deliver value dossiers, budget impact models, tender materials, and reimbursement submissions.Communicate the cost effectiveness, workflow benefits, and resource reduction impact of the JADA System.
Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy
Build strong relationships with payer organizations, reimbursement agencies, hospital finance leaders, and key maternal health influencers.Support stakeholders in navigating coding, DRGs, financing schemes, and procurement processes.Represent Laborie at health economics, reimbursement, payer, and policy focused events.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales, Regulatory, and Government Affairs to ensure coordinated market access execution.Provide structured customer and payer insights to shape strategic messaging, evidence generation priorities, and product positioning.Implement market access–related initiatives within the region and report on performance, observations, and emerging trends.
Internal Clinical & Commercial Support
Support training of internal teams (Sales, Marketing, MCH team) on reimbursement frameworks, payer messaging, and health economics tools.Collaborate with Territory Managers during account evaluations, tenders, and integrated access plus adoption strategies.Maintain accurate tracking and analysis of market access activities, engagements, and outcomes.Develop value proposition, messages and communication resources and train country colleagues in their use and preparation for key stakeholder engagements and negotiations
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (B.S. or B.A) with a combination of relevant experience, education, and training.Minimum 3 years of demonstrated successful sales experience in medical device or related field.Proven ability to identify business opportunities and persuade and influence others.Excellent communication skills including advanced presentation ability.Ability to travel (50%+).Fluency in English; any other additional European language is a plusExperience in successfully working in cross functional matrix teams and working with local country teams
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
The candidate should have strong Market Access, health economics, and reimbursement experience associated with medical devicesExcellent interpersonal skills, strong influencing, negotiating, conflict resolution skillsStrong commercial orientation and business acumenStrong project management verbal and written communications skillsThe candidate should have a strong understanding of European policy landscape, market access, and reimbursement frameworks in the medical device space in at least 2 European markets or more; Middle East and/or LATAM markets understanding is a plus
