In this role, you will be at the forefront of advancing our intralogistics solutions through cutting-edge data science projects.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development and implementation of sophisticated algorithms and machine learning models that drive operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. You will work within an interdisciplinary, international environment, collaborating closely with teams across different domains to ensure that data-driven insights translate into tangible business value. As a senior member of the team, you will also serve as a key knowledge resource, sharing your expertise and representing the company at relevant industry conferences and events.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background and extensive experience in data science and related fields. Candidates should have a completed university degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline. A minimum of five years of professional experience in data science, with a focus on large language models (LLMs), natural language processing (NLP), and artificial intelligence, is essential.

You should demonstrate expertise in developing complex algorithms and deploying AI/ML models in real-world applications. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, along with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, and frameworks such as Hugging Face, LangChain, and scikit-learn, is required. Experience with MLOps, including deployment tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines are highly desirable.

Additionally, knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and a solid understanding of software engineering principles are important. Candidates must have excellent communication skills in German and English (both at least C1 level), be self-motivated, flexible, and capable of working independently.
