About Our TeamWe are a team of experienced Data Analysts supporting multiple Life Science solutions, including Reaxys. Our work operates at the intersection of scientific domain expertise, advanced data analysis, and the adoption of AI-enabled technologies.We are self-driven and committed to continuous learning, actively exploring emerging capabilities including AI and GenAI-based frameworks to deliver measurable, data-driven customer impact. In close partnership with Product and Technology teams, we analyze data and translate it into actionable insights that strengthen our solutions and decision-making processes.

About the RoleYou will contribute to initiatives that enhance chemistry intelligence and data-driven customer impact through quality evaluation of the Reaxys search engine. Your work will focus on enriching chemical and regulatory datasets to improve search relevance, accuracy, and analytical capabilities.You will collaborate closely with Product Owners and Technology partners, working in an agile environment to deliver continuous improvements and measurable impact. Responsibilities:Collaborate with team members to generate data-driven customer impact insights and translate complex analyses into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.Perform advanced analytical work using SQL and Python/Java (e.g., trend analysis, anomaly detection, segmentation) to uncover patterns and drive decision-making.Develop and maintain reusable analytics code (modules, notebooks, automation jobs such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions) with version control, quality testing, and documentation to ensure scalability and repeatability.Contribute to the continuous improvement of data analysis frameworks and methodologies, including GenAI-driven evaluation approachesMentor and review peer work (SQL logic, analytical methodology, validation approaches) to elevate overall quality and consistency.

RequirementsAcademic background (Masters/PhD) in Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology /Chemistry or allied fieldsExperience using chemistry or scientific databases (e.g., Reaxys or similar platforms) as an end user is beneficial but not mandatoryHands-on experience working with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL or other relational/analytical database systems)Experience utilizing cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or similar) for data processing, analytics workflows, and scalable data solutionsStrong data analysis and scripting skills using Python and/or JavaDemonstrated experience contributing to or validating AI/GenAI-based testing frameworks and analytical workflowsCollaborative mindset with a proactive approach to knowledge sharing and cross-functional teamwork Work in a way that works for youWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
