At Brammibal's Donuts we're looking for a People & Culture Partner (m/f/d) with a Focus on Works Council and Employee Relations to join our team.

About Us

In 10 years of Brammibal’s Donuts we grew from a small cafe on Maybachufer in Berlin to a two-city operation with currently almost 200 employees.

At the moment we are operating 9 Shops and one Bakery Production in Berlin and 5 Shops and a Bakery Production in Hamburg with our Head Office located in Berlin.

Our mission remains simple - changing the perception of plant based food, one donut at a time.

About The Job

As our People & Culture Partner (m/f/d) with a focus on works council relations, you will serve as the key contact for all matters related to constructive and trust-based collaboration with the works council. You will be the connecting link between the leadership team, location managers, and shop and bakery teams across Berlin and Hamburg.

You will be part of our HR team operating from our Head Office in Berlin Friedrichshain.

In this role, you combine strong knowledge on labour law and Betriebsverfassungs- and Tarifrecht with a hands-on, people-focused approach while being present in our locations.

Your Responsibilities

Works Council Collaboration

Act as the primary contact person for our works council and foster a constructive and trust-based partnershipPrepare, support, and follow up on works council meetingsNegotiate, draft, and implement works agreements in collaboration with our HR ManagerEnsure compliance with co-determination requirements and processes

Employment Law & Leadership Advisory

Advise and coach our location managers on employment law topics in person and digitallyCoach and support Location Managers on motivating their teams or taking disciplinary action where necessary

Transformation & Change Management

Support and guide our location managers and teams through transformation and change processesActively contribute to the design and implementation of organizational changes

Organization, Culture & Engagement

Contribute to shaping a positive company culture and work environment in all our locationsSupport the development and improvement of our team members within our current career pathFoster employee engagement through feedback formats, employee surveys, and cultural initiatives

People Operations & Development

Support and accompany the onboarding process, both in-person and digitallyConduct regular visits to follow up new team members on their onboarding processBe present in our location to establish good and trust-based connections with our remote teamsDevelop, maintain, and update online training materialsTake charge of the process to get Brammibal’s registered as a training company (Ausbildungsbetrieb)

About You

Multiple years of experience in Human Resources Management or a comparable fieldIdeally experience within the gastronomy or retail industryProfessional experience working with Works Councils Profound knowledge of German labor law and co-determination regulations (Betriebsverfassungs- und Tarifrecht)Strong negotiation and communication skills in both german and englishA strong sense of confidentiality and integrityAn open, approachable and outgoing nature
