About This Role:

We are looking for a QA Software Tester to join our Product Team in Berlin. Your role will be instrumental in shaping quality from the very beginning: challenging specifications, identifying risks before development starts, and ensuring our Android and iOS applications deliver exceptional experiences to millions of users. As a key part of our team, you'll be directly involved in building and enhancing the digital destinations our users rely on throughout their shopping journeys.

This role is based at our Berlin office. We are looking for someone already based in Berlin and ready to join us on site - relocation support is not available for this position.

Responsibilities:

As a QA Software Tester, you will:

• Get involved early in the product cycle: analyzing requirements, challenging specifications with PMs and designers, and identifying quality risks before a single line of code is written
• Design, write and maintain test cases to validate new features across Android and iOS mobile applications
• Develop and maintain automated test suites, contributing to a team actively transitioning toward automation and AI-assisted testing workflows
• Lead regression testing as part of the release cycle, signing off on beta and production go-live decisions
• Collaborate proactively with developers, product managers and designers to raise the quality bar across the full feature lifecycle
• Explore and integrate AI tools into your daily QA workflow to improve efficiency and test coverage

Your Profile:

We are looking for someone who thrives in a role where quality starts long before testing begins. In this position you will regularly sit with product managers and designers to review specifications and you will be expected to speak up when something does not add up. You will work in a team that is actively transitioning toward automation and AI-assisted workflows, meaning the way you work today will look different in six months. If you are someone who waits to be told what to test, this is probably not the right fit. If you are someone who gets involved early, asks uncomfortable questions and gets excited about learning new tools, keep reading.

Hard Skills:

• We are looking for someone with 3 to 5 years of experience in software quality assurance. If you have significantly more than that, this role is probably not the right step for you
• Hands-on experience testing Android and/or iOS applications
• Proven ability to write, organize and maintain structured test cases
• Familiarity with Jira and Atlassian tools for bug tracking and project management
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment
• Any automation experience is a plus
• Any AI course or AI tool usage in a QA context is a strong signal
• Clear communicator in English : written and spoken
• Knowledge of German, French, Spanish or Polish is a plus
